How you may use the site
- Read, listen, and quietly recommend.
- Do not attempt to interfere with the site, its hosting, or other readers.
- Do not use the free-input feature to submit unlawful, harassing, or sexually-explicit content.
Content advisory
Stories on Stay Hushed deal with psychological horror — fear, dread, uncanny imagery. Some readers may find the material distressing. Stay Hushed is intended for an adult audience.
Free-input feature
Some stories invite you to type a short reply. Anything you type is sent to a language model to generate an in-character response, then discarded. The model’s reply is part of the fiction; it is not advice and not a person.
No warranty
The site is offered as-is. We do not promise it will always be available, free of error, or that any given story will remain published.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change with them. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
